About Ali Torki
Ali was born in the last days of the fall 1978 in a lovely family from the persian land. excited and deep memories of his childhood and adolescence, along with the desire to achieve ambitious dreams to build a better world, was a strong support until those years gradually become interested in professional social activities.
Ali’s first experience in this direction was by acting at the age of 9 in a prominent theater and working with a team of 20 people. This experience gained as a teenager continued with his membership in the Red Crescent Youth Organization and participation in its team volunteer activities (including promotional activities and widespread polio vaccination of the community).
In his youth, at the same time as he was interested in learning the wisdom and teachings of personal and organizational development, he chose the field of civil engineering for his graduate studies. A field that, in addition to structuring the engineering mind, contained deep concepts of planning, project management, etc.
In the first year of the university, he became a member of the civil engineering scientific association and after a short time (on the verge of turning 20), due to his knowledge, managerial talent and inspiring others was elected as the chair of the association.
It can be said that this was his first official leadership experience to lead a large student organization. A precious era that was accompanied by the initiative of planning, organizing and leading outstanding activities such as the following:
- Initiate and Holding the first nationwide festival of specialized films of the construction industry
- Publication of a specialized monthly Civil Engineering magazine
- Holding a series of meetings for sharing experience construction project management
- Initiate and Holding the first student subscription book market
Further along the way, he was invited to be a member of the Iranian Civil Engineering Students Organization Policy Council and practically started a wide-ranging activity in the field of strategic planning and management of student activities in the scope of all engineering universities of the country.
Simultaneously with his bachelor’s, he started working with one of the largest consulting engineer companies in the country and during this time he was present in several projects as a designer and engineering manager. After completing his bachelor’s degree and officially entering the labor market, he was given a unique opportunity to participate in one of the largest construction and oil and gas projects. An event that was actually a turning point for his entry into the professional world of managing megaprojects of design and construction (EPC) in the world class. Implementation of the project management system based on the PMBOK standard, establishing PMO, intensive and professional contractual, technical and management negotiations with the some wellknown international companies was only a part of these precious experiences.
In 2014, based on his previous interest and several years of project management experience, he decided to fundamentally expand his management knowledge in accordance with scientific and technological developments. The subject that made him apply for an MBA degree with a specialization in ICT Management.
Although Ali’s expectations from his master’s degree were not low, he never thought that this experience would actually be a window to the wonderful world of interesting and practical management topics that was opened for him at the most golden possible time. The opportunity to attend the lessons of the inimitable professor of strategic planning and management, the late Dr. Vafa Ghafarian, the exciting lesson of the systematic approach of professor Khorram, marketing and digital marketing of professor Ikhlasi and other valuable professors who were a significant part of his consecutive successes post-master’s course.
After completing his master’s degree, Ali’s career path became more managerial and he assumed various responsibilities in the field of strategic management and business development coaching of several companies. In 2012, as a member of the FIDIC World Federation Youth Committee, he spent the YPMTP professional course with a team of 40 representatives from different countries in Seoul, South Korea, thus expanding his management teamwork experience in the international arena.
Since then, in line with the increasing progress of digital technologies, Ali has improved his knowledge and management experience in the field of information and communication technology management and transformation, and in addition to being in the founding team of two start-ups, as a strategist, analyst and business development coach, has had various collaborations with several companies in different fields.
Although he had spent many years sharing his knowledge and management experience with different companies, but according to the principle of continuous learning, in 2022, he continued his graduate studies in the course of DBA (doctorate of Business Administration in digital transformation). so parallel with his professional activities, He expanded his work in the field of designing and teaching comprehensive training courses for digital transformation of business
